Update (4 March):

Bus Eieann have now announced that the change described below will not take effect as planned.    It may apply from some later date, depending on industrial negotiations.

Details of the change

These buses will no longer operate:
  • 4:30pm from Dublin Airport
  • 8:45pm from Limerick
  • 6:45pm from Limerick (Friday & Sunday)
  • 1pm from Dublin Airport (Friday)
  • 6am and 10am from Dublin Airport (Saturday & Sunday are cancelled, Mon-Fri will still run)
  • 5:20am and 11:45am from Limerick (Saturday & Sunday are cancelled, Mon-Fri will still run)

Alternative services

Other companies which operate between Dublin and Limerick are:

  • Dublin Coach (fewer stops, goes to Dublin city only - but you can connect to their Dublin Airport service at Red Cow)
These services operate from Arthur's Quay, not Limerick Bus Station.  See the regional bus stops map for exact locations.
