Friday 24 December

City Buses

  • Bus Éireann will run a regular Friday service - except that buses due to depart after 9pm will not not run.
  • Dublin Coach:   
    • Regular Friday service

Regional buses   

  • Bus Eireann will run regular weekday services until approx 9pm:
    • last bus from Tralee to Limerick at 6pm, and Limerick to Tralee at 7:35pm
    • Last bus from Limerick to Killarney at 5:35pm, from Killarney to Limerick at 6pm 
  • CityLink:  Normal services, except the 6pm Galway to Cork and 9:30pm Cork to Galway are cancelled
  • Dublin Coach (Dublin / Limerick / Ennis / Tralee) - regular timetable
  • LocalLink - to be advised

Saturday 25 December - Christmas Day

  • The 12:30am Citylink bus from Dublin Airport to Limerick will run
  • Some taxi companies will offer a limited service - but many will be closed.
  • All other services - trains and city and regional buses - are cancelled. 

Sunday 26 December - St Steven's Day

City Buses

  • Bus Eireann will run a regular Sunday service on all routes - but with no services before 9am
  • Dublin Coach (307/308) - Sunday timetable

Regional buses: 

  • Bus Eireann - regular Sunday timetable:  first bus on each route on / after 9am
  • CityLink:  regular service, except the 12:30am Dublin airport to Galway service will not run
  • Dublin Coach (Dublin / Limerick / Ennis / Tralee) - regular timetable
  • JJ Kavanagh - regular timetable

Trains

  • No trains will run


Monday 27 December

City buses

  • Bus Eireann have advertised that they will run a regular weekday service - but check this closer to the date, as many business will be observing the public holiday, and it may be an error
